What's Behind the Name? - Good Friday

Today is Good Friday as you all know. It is also known as Holy Friday, Black Friday and Great Friday. Today we are going to see the origin of Good Friday:

According to the Accounts in the Gospels, Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane by the Temple Guards through the guidance of his disciple, Judas Iscariot. He was then brought to the High Priest and was interrogated. The High Priest then condemned Jesus for Blasphemy, and was sentenced to death. The next morning he was brought to Roman Governor Pontius Pilate, Pilate declared Jesus innocent and then he was handed over to be crucified. Jesus was then crucified along with 2 other criminals. Joseph of Arimathea then took the body of Jesus to place it in his new tomb near the site of crucifixion. On the third day i.e Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead. This Sunday is now known as Easter Sunday. We will see a fact about Easter Sunday on this Sunday, under the same title 'What's Behind a Name?'.
