A Fact A Day # 12

Yesterday we read some phobia of psychological conditions. Today, we will read some phobia that are related to non-psychological conditions:

1. Photophobia – hypersensitivity to light causing aversion to light.

2. Ombrophobia – avoidance of rain.

3. Thermophobia – aversion to heat.

4. Phonophobia – hypersensitivity to sound causing aversion to sounds.

5. Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia – fear of long words.

6. Nihilophobia - fear of nothingness.
